Nurturing Nights Launch
Throughout my journey with Nurturing Mums I have been raising my two little ones side by side and I know first hand the struggles, successes and confusion that surrounds children’s sleep. When I’ve hosted our postnatal courses in the past and heard from sleep consultants about the science of sleep I have marveled at the impact that sleep can have on every member of the family and seen parent have those ah ha moments of understanding and clarity. I saw that with some core knowledge, understanding and age appropriate sleep info you can see the pressure lift and parents begin to understand the mysteries of sleep for their little ones. So, when Nurturing Mums had to take a pause during the Covid pandemic, sleep questions was still what I was getting from local parents, where to go for support was so unclear and I wondered whether I could still support parents directly in this way.
With my previous experience as a nanny and my training as a maternity nurse I had always been fascinated with sleep and seen how little tweaks paired with understanding made big changes in everyone’s sleep. Watching my own two from those newborn days of only sleeping on you to my four year old needing support when new school anxieties were getting in the way of bedtime I’ve feel even more passionate about being able to support others going through similar hurdles. So over this last year I have been studying with the London School of Childcare Studies to be a qualified Sleep Practitioner and am thrilled to have already supported many families.
What is a new offering without a launch party!
We had the best morning at Optimum You Yoga and Wellness Studio in Market Harborough, Leicestershire in November 2021 launching our new Nurturing Nights packages. We had Baby Relax providing the best sensory play space, Valerie there showing how essential oils can play apart in sleep support and Natalie from Carry My Baby sharing her expertise of baby wearing. All complete with delicious treats from Baked by Emily Davis and some fizz of course. The talented Dorte Kjaerulff was also there taking all of these gorgeous pictures of our time together.
I’m thrilled to now be able to offer group sleep workshops, private workshops and one to one consultations on Zoom or in person if you are within 10 miles of Market Harborough. I’m so looking forward to helping you sleep soundly.
